Rube Goldberg Machine: Grade 8

Machines are used to make our lives easier by letting us expend a minimum amount of effort for maximum results. Rube Goldberg had a different view; he designed machines to be as complex as possible to accomplish the simplest tasks.

In this challenge, tied to the Mechanical Systems unit, students must design and build a Rube Goldberg machine using simple machines to extract a marble from a tube.
